FOR FACILITATORS

Sticky Banks

Create stacks or grids of sticky notes in seconds

Sticky Banks let facilitators generate many blank sticky notes at once instead of placing them one by one.

What Is a Sticky Bank?

A Sticky Bank is a bulk sticky-note generator with two modes:

  • Stacked: one pile of stickies
  • Grid: rows and columns, with optional stack depth per cell

Use it for brainstorms, voting walls, retros, SWOTs, and affinity mapping.

How to Create One

  1. Open Tools & Media
  2. Select Sticky Bank
  3. Configure layout and colors
  4. Click Create
  5. Click on the canvas to place it (a placement ghost follows your cursor)

Configuration Options

Simple Mode

  • Pick base color
  • Set total sticky count (1 to 100)

Advanced Mode

  • Rows (1 to 10)
  • Columns (1 to 10)
  • Stack depth per cell (1 to 50)
  • Spacing (0 to 100)
  • Sticky size (50 to 200)
  • Color schemes and workshop presets

Presets

Built-in presets include:

  • Brainstorm
  • Voting
  • SWOT
  • Retro
  • Affinity
  • Pros & Cons

Presets automatically set grid layout and color mapping.

Facilitation Tips

  • Use stacked for rapid idea capture
  • Use grid for structured frameworks
  • Add labels near each grid region before participants start
  • Lock container shapes, not participant stickies

Troubleshooting

"I configured it but nothing appeared"

After clicking Create, you still need to click the canvas to place the bank.

"Too many notes were created"

Use smaller stack depth and fewer rows/columns in Advanced mode.

"Layout is too tight"

Increase spacing or reduce sticky size.
