- **Upload a video and watch it together** (New, Tools, 2026-09-25) — Facilitators can upload a video from the tools menu and play it on the board or as a tool. Everyone watches in sync, or you can unlink it so people watch at their own pace.

- **Schedule sessions and see what's up next** (New, Spaces & sharing, 2026-09-03) — You can now schedule sessions from the Sessions tab. Home shows an "Up next" block with a live countdown and a Join button, and space cards show when each space meets next.

- **Audio and video recover on their own** (Improved, Performance & reliability, 2026-07-15) — Kolab now spots when someone's audio or video silently stops arriving and reconnects it automatically, so you're less likely to end up with a frozen face or a silent speaker.
- **Data saver mode** (New, Audio & video, 2026-07-14) — On a slow connection? Turn on Data saver from the video controls menu to stop receiving other people's video. - **Default sticky shape for your board** (Improved, Canvas, 2026-07-10) — Facilitators can choose square or rectangle stickies for a whole board. Stickies with lots of text now grow to fit instead of cutting it off.

- **Paste from Miro** (New, Canvas, 2026-07-05) — Copy elements in Miro and paste them onto your canvas. Stickies, shapes, text and frames arrive as native Kolab elements, keeping their layout. You can paste images and text too.
- **Smoother trackpad pinch zoom** (Fixed, Canvas, 2026-07-03) — Pinch-zooming on a trackpad no longer jumps the wrong way, and zooming out now feels steady.

- **Host audio broadcast** (New, Audio & video, 2026-06-24) — Hosts can broadcast to everyone in the space at once, whatever their zone or distance. - **Fixes & polish** (Fixed, Canvas, 2026-06-21) — Align and distribute work repeatedly, images show on first load, circles resize smoothly, mic and camera shortcuts work on Mac, and people stay on the participants list through brief blips.
- **No more silent speakers** (Fixed, Audio & video, 2026-06-19) — Fixed a bug where someone could show as speaking but you couldn't hear them until you refreshed. Spatial audio now fades naturally with distance in every direction.
- **Stay in your session** (Fixed, Performance & reliability, 2026-06-19) — Refreshing the page now brings you straight back into the space, the browser Back button asks before you leave, and Stop recording stops the recording on the first click.
- **Tap to talk with Kola** (Improved, AI & Kola, 2026-06-18) — Kola now starts in text and only listens when you tap to talk. In voice, only the facilitator who opened Kola hears her, and you can turn her spoken replies off.

- **Select stacked elements** (Improved, Canvas, 2026-06-06) — Your cursor now shows a crosshair while Shift or Ctrl is held for box select. - **Pop-out chat, participants, and agenda** (New, Facilitation, 2026-06-06) — Pop the chat, participants, or agenda panel into its own window. It's handy for two monitors, and keeps panels from covering the canvas.

- **Faster board switching and busy boards** (Improved, Performance & reliability, 2026-05-28) — Switching boards is quicker, with images loaded ahead of time, and canvases stay smooth when lots of people add elements at once or you select and zoom on large boards.
- **System check from the pre-join screen** (Improved, Audio & video, 2026-05-09) — Having trouble with your camera or mic?
